During a hike at the stunning beaches of Åhus in Southern Sweden, a warm afternoon in late autumn, Börge Lindau spotted a man sitting on the beach. He had put down a washed up plank in the sand as a backrest, sat on his newspaper and had rolled up his towel as a headrest. This man´s pleasurable moment was the inspiration for Planka.
