The environment is an important factor of today. In October 1998, Lammhults received the ISO 14001-certificate, ensuring that the company "has an eco management system that fulfils the requirements of SS-EN ISO 14001 : 2004"
ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
A majority LAMMHULTS’ products have a tradition of timeless design, making a long-term use possible for many people.
Increased environmental adaptation gives increased quality of life. Our ambition is to meet the market demands of tomorrow.
LAMMHULTS’ ambition is to constantly strive for improvement of the business activity according to set environmental goals, as well as contributing to a durable development by creating and offering products with the least possible influence on the environment. At the same time, our product quality must always meet our customers’ demands.
This implies the following
- Offering products with high quality and long life time
- Following existing environmental legislation, prescriptions and other demands
- Taking into account environmental consequences, to an applicable extent, before each decision
- Continuously increasing the knowledge and improving the environmental awareness of all employees, as well as giving them the possibility to take into account the environmental aspects in their daily work
- Allocating responsibility, sufficient resources and financial means in order
to continuously carry through improvements of the business activity from an environmental and health point of view
- Continuously striving for the prevention of contamination
- Looking upon environmental measures as long-term investments
- Manufacturing products based on the idea of recycling and a minimum consumption of raw materials, to the fullest possible extent
- Active co-operation with our suppliers and the giving of priority to the ones managing systematic environmental improvements
From the idea of recycling and persistent development, LAMMHULTS’ environmental policy has been established. The whole business is to be driven in accordance with this approach.
All environmental goals in the organisation of LAMMHULTS are to be set in accordance with the environmental policy. This policy should be seen upon as a guide for all employees in all environmental matters.
Company management is responsible for ensuring that the environmental policy is adhered to in all company activities.
