Growing Possibilities

The Lammhults Danish design duo of Johannes Foersom and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen has increased the variations of the Atlas seating collection with an Atlas sled-base armchair.

The soft lines of the seat shell carry over to the newly designed base in which a single steel tube forms both the base and the arms. The sled base gives the chair an entirely new expression and is available in chrome or powder coat.

Atlas provides a high level of comfort with a seat shell that conforms to the body. The sled base adds another dimension of comfort since it gives the chair further elasticity. The Atlas sled base chair is stackable, a new feature that allows new applications.

The first Atlas chair was produced in 1998 and since then Atlas has developed into a chair with many possibilities and many variations – all with the signature Atlas seating shell and comfort.
